Goldbear was originally introduced as the “Dancing Bear” in 1922, but was later redesigned and renamed Goldbear in 1960. The iconic Goldbear character has been on the Haribo packaging since 1989. On one side the tin has the words “enjoy” “taste” and ” since 1922″ On the other side its has “lots of fun since 1922” most of the wording and imagery are embossed.
